DBSK 4th album: Mirotic review

OH EM GEE.
Dude, I’ve been waiting for this SO FREAKING LONG. I WAS SO FREAKING MAD WHEN THE ALBUM RELEASE GOT DELAYED AND NOW IT’S FINALLY OUTTTTTT!!!
OMGOMGOMGOMG I have to go leave for basketball practice, so I’ll come back with a review after I’ve listened to all the songs.
Review under the cut!!
01. Mirotic : I don’t have to explain myself. I LOVE THIS SONG. It’s like… ridiculously catchy. Even more than Purple Line probably. ~I got youuuu, under my skin~
02. Wrong Number : I didn’t like this at first, but I gave it few tries ^^ I don’t like the chorus, but the beat is nicely catchy.
AAAAH THERE’S A FREAKING BIG FLY IN MY ROOM. DIEEE!! *sorry, bug phobia*
03. 노을.. 바라보다 (Look at.. the Glow) : I believe this is the one written by Junsu. Now HERE’S a song I love. I read the translations… somewhere. And it’s SO SO SO EXTREMELY SWEET AND TOUCHING. Junsu’s a genius TT_TT *cries tears of joy* My favorite part is totally the chorus. <3<3<3 This is a MUST LISTEN. Even if you don’t like the other songs… at least listen to this one. Just for Junsu.

04. CRAZY LOVE : Kinda techno-ish? I like it though lol, so no worries (even though techno isn’t my style). ~You’re my crazy love~ YES YOU ARE, YOU GORGEOUS BOYS. ~My heart beats for you~ RIGHT AGAIN!
05. HEY! (Don’t Bring Me Down) : When the preview came out, I read that a lot of people didn’t… particularly like it. Well, I think I’m in the minority here, but I really liked this song. It’s really catchy (like Mirotic), and I liked the upbeat-ness. I mean, when I’m listening to this while I’m cleaning up my room (bad example, I know), it usually helps me concentrate when I sing along ^_^ Try it!!
06. 넌 나의 노래 (You’re My Song) : Oh god, I love this song so much. I can actually recognize a few Korean words in this, like inorae *looks proud* My favorite part is DEFINITELY THE CHORUS. DEFINITELY. It’s lovely. Absolutely lovely. There’s no other words I can use to describe this song. PLEASE LISTEN TO IT.
07. 무지개 (Rainbow) : LOL when my roommate heard the opening beats, she thought it was an English song! HAHA it’s kinda true though… the opening beats sound like something that a jazz band would play in a jazz club. IT REALLY DOES. It’s not my favorite song of the album though… I was like spacing out while I was listening to it. Not that it was boring… just that I didn’t like it much.
08. 낙원 (Paradise) : I love the harps in the beginning <3<3 And Micky’s sexy voice going “Uh, uh” It’s a relaxing song ^_^ Idk, it’s kinda like Rainbow. I was like spacing out while listening to it (oh god, I just realized I’m so tired that I’m spacing out while I’m typing this out… I need to get sugar high again.)
09. 악녀 (Are You A Good Girl?) : HAHA I LOVE THIS SONG. Not only because of the title (which is TOTALLY LOL-TASTIC), but cause the song is great too. I can actually hear them sing ~are you a good girll~ in the chorus LOL. I’m a good girl… except when it comes to my insane fangirl-isms. It is SUCH AN UPBEAT SONG.
10. Flower Lady : I love this song <3<3<3 DUDE, I CAN SWEAR I’VE HEARD THIS SONG ON AN ENGLISH RADIO BEFORE. WAS IT BASED OFF AN ENGLISH SONG??? *goes to another blog for a quick check* OHH, YES IT IS! Something like “Stay with Me” right? OMGOMG I LOVE THAT SONG. The Korean version sounds amazing, let me tell you that.
11. 잊혀진계절 : Jaejoong’s solo? Yea…. I LOVE YOU JAE <3<3<3 It’s a really gorgeous solo song. Jae’s voice makes me melt <3<3<3
12. Love in the Ice [Korean Version] : OMG I FREAKING LOVED THE JAPANESE VERSION. AND THE KOREAN VERSION IS JUST AS GOOD. OHOH AND YOU KNOW THAT HIGH NOTE THAT MICKY ALWAYS SINGS IN HIS LIVES? IT’S IN THE KOREAN VERSION RECORDING. OMGOMG I WAS LIKE SPAZZING WHEN I HEARD THAT NOTE, CAUSE I TOTALLY WASN’T EXPECTING THAT.
My rating: 10/10. I was totally pleased with this album. It was totally worth the time I waited for it to come out. Can’t wait till their comeback either ^_^ Look forward to the post after this, it’ll be totally mind-blowing!
Epicism’s rating: So stingy Alison? I haven’t even listened to the album yet and I’m saying that it’s 12/10. Wait until I make the parents buy me the albums for my birthday. Then it’ll be like a 2938527394/10.
