Shinee- The Shinee World

DUDE this came out while I was at retreat, and I logged onto z-degrees, and I was like ADS;FKJAS;DKLFJA;LDSKJF. I’ll go download it now, and do a review later! (cause that’s the only thing I can do )

Dude I totally loved the album… not only because I love Shinee, but the songs are absolutely amazing. Oh and sorry for the late review. I would’ve done it yesterday, but I went to a school dance (and OMG it was awesome!), but that’s totally off-topic.  Let’s shine the spotlight on Shinee! (haha I crack myself up sometimes. Haha shine, Shinee… ok, I’ll be quiet now.)

01. The SHINee World : Dude when they performed this on their comeback, I knew I was gonna love it. It’s a great start to a great album (hmm, I said that about Younha’s album too!) But anyway, it’s incredibly catchy. The beat is like, so upbeat. And I absolutely love it when they sing “Shinee segye!” WOOT Shinee world! And “MY NAME IS MINHO!” Dude that’s awesome (but of course, everyone knows that the rapper is Minho right?)

02. 사랑의 길 (Love’s Way) : This reminds me of one of those American R&B songs, sorta like Chris Brown songs (which, btw, Chris Brown is awesome.) And I would be totally into American music if the lyrics weren’t so incredibly horribly annoying (I actually listen to Korean music because I like not being able to understand it.) So basically, if you’re a fan of American artists like Chris Brown or R&B, you’ll love this song. (I know I love it.) Ooh, and Jonghyun’s voice is totally suited to this kind of music! Cause he hits the most awesome high notes.

03. 산소 같은 너 (Love Like Oxygen) : Everyone knows this song right? I admit, I didn’t like it at first, but I saw their live performance and MV and I totally fell in love. I love how this song showcases Taemin and Minho a lot more (unlike Replay.). And I actually like how I can actually hear Minho rapping. The beat is really catchy, and this is a new style of song I haven’t heard before from anyone, and I think I actually really like it.

04. 너 아니면 안되는 걸 (ROMANTIC) : I really like how this song starts off. Oh, this song reminds me a lot of another song I know… GAH I can’t remember what it is. But listen to the very beginning of the chorus, and the melody sounds really familiar to me. I can’t remember whether it was an English song or Korean song though >.< But this is another kind of R&B mellow song ^_^ And it’s quite romantic sounding.

05. 그녀가 헤어졌다 (One For Me) : To be honest… I don’t really like this song. It’s kinda boring… in a way. Like IDK why I  don’t like it… I just don’t. Of course, that’s just my opinion. You guys can try it out too, and then make your own decision.

06. 화장을 하고 (Graze) : This song is ok. Not great, not bad. I hate the tune for the verses, but the chorus made up for it. I would suggest listening to it for the chorus, plus the rapping is really nice too, since you don’t get to hear Minho rap all that often.

07. 마지막 선물 (Last Gift) [In my room-Prelude] : Aww, I love this song. It starts off with a piano playing, kinda like Haru Haru, but different at the same time. It’s a lot like In My Room… really slow, a pure ballad song. I like this song A LOT more than In My Room. I like the tune a lot more, and it’s just a lot more pleasing to my ears.

08. 내 곁에만 있어 (Best Place) : I don’t like this song that much. It’s not that great, but I like it a lot better than One for Me or Graze.

09. 혜야 (Y Si Fuera Ella) : THIS was the song I was looking forward to. I’LL FINISH WHEN I GET BACK.
