Younha- Someday

OMG she’s back with a Korean album! DUDE I LOVE this girl! She is gorgeous and so so so talented! She’s also a piano player too! Isn’t that AWESOME?!

Hmm, IDK about her looks, but I hope that’s a wig. She looked gorgeous with her long hair in Ajoo’s Paparazzi.

Ok, so I’m downloading the album right now. I’ll write a review when I’m done listening to it!

01. Gossip Boy :  A great start to a great album ^^ I can honestly say that I love all the songs in this album! Well, I’m not Korea, so I can’t tell you guys what she’s singing about.  But this is a really great, upbeat song, and the title makes me LOL because I love the Gossip Girl series.

02. Memory (ft. Tablo) [rap mix] : Oh dude, I love it when Younha does collabs with Tablo.  Cause seriously, they sounds awesome.  And this is no exception.  It reminds me alot of like Epik High’s style; kinda quiet, soft.  Younha sounds great as always, and she hits her high notes so sweetly! And TABLO!! ADSFA;ASD;LFKJ;LAKSJDF I LOVE HIM!

03. Hero : Oooh the beginning reminds me of her Touch song from her first album. Kinda reminds me of Arashi’s Truth song too.  But it kicks off with a great beat.  Actually, this song’s a lot like Touch, but WAY different at the same time, if that makes any sense.  Great song though ^^

04. Someday : OMG I love this song.  I even love the title. It’s a nice slow song, with very lovely high notes that show off Younha’s lovely voice. Oh I especially love the “na-na’s” after the chorus, they’re very pretty

05. 텔레파시 (Telepathy) : Eek this song is SO UPBEAT AND FUN! Totally one of my favorite songs on this album.  IDK the song kinda reminds of her Hyesung song, where like there’s a piano theme everywhere.

06. Rain & the Bar : Kinda like an short interlude, I guess. Nothing special about it. Well, at least the title makes sense, since the next song is called…

07. 빗소리 (The Sound of Rain) : A relaxing song. Hmm, not my favorite, but there’s a lot of lovely piano in this song ^^

08. Rainbow : A kinda mellow song? It’s quite relaxing, and it has a nice tune to it ^^ Plus Younha hits a very pretty high note somewhere in the chorus.

09. Best Friend : FINALLY, another medium-paced song. It’s such a pretty song! It has a Password 486 feel to it, but it’s different at the same time. My favorite part of the song is the chorus ^^

10. Strawberry Days : Another slow song.  But very lovely. This song really shows off Younha’s vocal range, especially in the chorus where she hits the PRETTIEST high notes!

11. For Catharina : Well, I was expecting this to be another singing song, but to my surprise, it’s a piano song! OMG it was such a great surprise, since this girl is really a talented piano player (WAY better than me, and I’ve been playing for like 9 years.)  It’s got a lovely tune to it!

12. 미워하다 (Hateful) : A ballad song, I think. It kinda reminds me of Jang Ri In’s Heaven (GOD, why do so many of her songs remind me of other songs?) It’s still a gorgeous song (since I really love Heaven.)

13. My Song and… : This song starts off so pretty! IT’S IN ENGLISH (which Younha pronounces perfectly!) She seriously has no accent when she sings; it’s actually very refreshing, given the number the Kpop stars lately who have a horrible English pronunctiation (no offense to them, since I love all of them).  Just cause I want to say it again: THIS SONG IS IN ENGLISH!

14. 울지마요 (Don’t cry) : Idk I don’t like this song that much… There’s just nothing that special about it….

15. Memory (Original Mix) : The title should be self-explanatory, but the original song is still lovely

My rating: 9/10

Some songs just aren’t that great, but the majority are GREAT songs. I’m more than pleased with this album! Now if only I had enough money to buy it…
